Bless the Child is a film I had watched years ago when I'm just a little girl, even though it's been years since I watch this movie and never had a chance to watch it again it's still stuck in my mind and part of my permanent memory. 

The movie is about a young girl Cody who was abandoned by her mother due to being weird or autistic. She was took in by her mother's sister and was treated like a real daughter. As far as I can remember, Cody isn't really your typical little girl. She's somewhat weird but I think not in an autistic way, I think the doctors taught that she was autistic because of acting different. She doesn't really socialize with anyone at school and there's one time when she revived a dead bird and it flew away, witnessed by her classmates and a nun. It was later revealed in the movie that Cody is a special girl and she wasn't just any little girl, she's something else--not in an insane way--and that the creatures of darkness were aftering her.

Cody versus Damien

Its pretty obvious that this film is the anti-thesis of The Omen. In the film Omen, the child there is evil and a being from Hell. Damien is the chosen one to destroy or bring suffering to the Human race, in Bless the Child, Cody is like the little girl version of the Messiah and the Evil wanted her because  they're aware that she'll be the one to cause their defeat. Both lead characters are children and looked innocent but contained something else from within. They're like a small representation of Good versus Evil, Angels versus Demons and anything related to that.




Subjective:

While searching for stuff about this film, I read many negative response in this film and from a website that I have read, the one who typed it said that the film was 'silly' and like irrational or not good at all. It was also included at one of the worst films ever and it is also mentioned that the actress who took the role of the woman who adopted Cody is a terrible actress.
Despite of those negative critics and whatsoever, I still find this film beautiful and heck worth of the shot, I know we're all entitled to our own opinion and I can't really do anything about those negative claims. But for me, in my eyes, the film is nice and I understood it pretty well. And I like its plot and the theme. I don't find it occult-ish or evil, I think unconciously, the film wants to tell the viewers to have more faith in God and there's nothing really impossible to him, Miracles are real, we shouldn't be blind sided and
ignorant of shits around us.

Angels versus Humans: Legion

Movie Summary:

The Archangel Michael falls to Earth in Los Angeles and cuts off his wings. He steals a police car after a policeman is killed by another officer. He then heads for the Paradise Falls diner, near the edge of the Mojave Desert.

Meanwhile, Kyle, a single father driving to Los Angeles, stops at the diner. There he meets the owner, Bob Hanson; his son Jeep; the short-order cook Percy; a pregnant waitress, Charlie; a married couple, Howard and Sandra Anderson, and their rebellious teenage daughter, Audrey.

An old woman enters the diner. She seems pleasant at first, but then begins taunting the diner's patrons. When Howard confronts her, she rips his throat open, screeches that they are all going to die and climbs up the ceiling like an insect. Kyle shoots her with a handgun before she can kill Bob. Percy, Kyle, Bob, Sandra, Audrey, Jeep, and Charlie try to get the injured Howard to the hospital, but are forced to go back after passing through a swarm of flies.

Michael arrives and arms the patrons as the entire sky plunges into blackness. Hundreds of cars approach, filled with possessed people who begin to attack the diner. Michael leads the patrons in the fight against the possessed, but Howard is dragged away. Later Michael explains that God has lost faith in mankind and has sent His angels to destroy the human race. He also reveals that Charlie's baby is destined to be the savior of mankind, and that it must stay alive if humanity is to have any hope of surviving. Michael also reveals that his original mission was to kill Charlie's baby, but he disagreed with God's orders, as he still has faith in the goodness of humanity.

The next morning, Sandra discovers Howard crucified behind the restaurant and covered with boils. She tries to rescue him, but he violently explodes into acid. Percy dies shielding Sandra from the blast, and Sandra is driven insane. Meanwhile, the remaining survivors (Jeep, Charlie, Kyle, Audrey, Sandra and Bob) manage to catch a radio transmission revealing that there are other pockets of survivors holding out against the possessed, with one such refuge nearby. However, Michael advises them not to go, since they would be too vulnerable on the move.

That night, a second wave of possessed attack, luring Kyle out by having a father and his son show up and having the father run over, motivating Kyle to attempt to save the child. The child turns out to be possessed, kills Kyle, and attacks Audrey but Michael intervenes and shoots down many possessed.

The attack pushes a panicked Charlie into labor. Audrey and Michael help her deliver the baby as trumpets sound, signaling the approach of the Archangel Gabriel. In a panic, Sandra breaks her restraints and tries to give the baby to the possessed, but Michael guns her down.

Moments later, Gabriel enters the diner seriously injuring Bob. Michael gives Jeep the keys to the police cruiser he arrived in, urging them to escape and telling Jeep, rather enigmatically to "find the prophets, learn to read the instructions". The hordes of possessed humans are unable to approach Charlie's baby, so Jeep, Audrey, Charlie, and the baby make their way to the cruiser. Gabriel and Michael fight, ending with Gabriel stabbing Michael through the chest with his mace. Michael dies and his body disappears. The dying Bob lights a flame to the diner's gas main, blowing up the diner, incinerating himself and the remaining possessed.

Jeep's body gets covered in the same mysterious drawings seen on Michael's body which leads Jeep to realize that the tattoos are the instructions Michael spoke of. Gabriel then appears, having survived, and swoops down on the fleeing car. As he tries to reach Charlie, Audrey jumps on him and sacrifices herself by yelling at Jeep to slam on the brakes, sending Gabriel through the front windshield as the car crashes. Charlie and Jeep survive with the baby, but Audrey doesn't survive the crash.

Gabriel finally corners the three in the nearby mountains. He is about to kill them when Michael appears from Heaven, an angel once more, and stops Gabriel. Michael tells Gabriel that he (Michael) did what God needed, not what God wanted, thus giving humanity another chance. With his angelic powers back, Michael easily defeats Gabriel, but spares his life after which Gabriel leaves, defeated. Michael explains to Jeep that he is the child's true protector and to have faith when Jeep asks if they will see Michael again, then flies off. Charlie and Jeep make it to the top of the mountain and see a small town in the valley below.

Sometime later, Charlie, Jeep, and the baby are seen driving off into the distance with a station wagon full of weapons, after which the credits roll.

FILM REVIEW:

"The Angels will come forth"

Legion is a weird, twisted and blasphemous(like what the Director said) movie. 

In this film, the human race aren't dealing with Demons but with Angels because it was said that 

God is already mad at his children(humans) because of the sins and many destruction they made and the fact

that most of them are already losing faith and so, he decided to make a move. To exterminate the entire human race through the angels. The main setting is at a small pub in the middle of the dessert and strangely the pub is called 'Paradise Falls', there inside the pub are group of survivors whom the Archangel Michael will hang out with. The survivors with Michael are surprised, because instead of Demons possessing humans, it was Angels. That's really unbelievable because what the humans believe in is that Angels are supposed to be the Good Guys.

The Fall of Archangel Michael

We all know Archangel Michael as the leader of the Angel army and the Prince of the Heavenly Host, his name means 'The one who is like God' and he's also the one who defeated Lucifer in the first rebellion. But in this film, the Holy and Leader of the seven Archangels fell(not literally) like what happened to Lucifer. But he did not fall because he turned evil or whatsoever, he chose to fall because he's against God's order to destroy mankind. Like what he said in the movie, He loses his faith but he--Michael--did not, he still believes on mankind and there's still a chance for them to change.

Subjective Response:

The Archangel Michael in this film is not the Michael I am expecting, he's different like he's void of emotions or just really weird. And...I LOVE ARCHANGEL MICHAEL.

The Battle between Michael and Gabriel

In the Bible, obviously, Archangel Michael and Gabriel are brothers, allies and will

never hurt each other. But in the film, Gabriel's character is a hell different from the 

typical Gabriel. He is cold, ruthless and will not hesitate to kill a human. And he did 

not even have a second thought on fighting his brother. Gabriel beat the crap out of Michael.

The image of Gabriel being the messenger who sent the Virgin Mary the message was suddenly

dumped and overshadowed by this new Gabriel. And Charlie there in the film is like symbolizing Mary since she's pregnant and Michael is trying to protect her while Gabriel wanted to kill her.

My Subjective Film Review:

Legion is one of my favorite film, and not only because I am attracted by its theme but also because of its story. I read from the internet and watched from Youtube that this film earned many negative criticisms, maybe because of its weird theme and the fact that it was Angels destroying mankind and they're not your typical goody Angels, another thing they have black wings--a symbolism that they're different and a killer more likely. I am not really affected by the criticisms of the film, I can't blame those people since like what I said earlier, the humans' belief is that Heaven is kind, holy and Angels are the ones who will protect the human race from the wraths of evil. It's also surprising that Hell and Demons are not mentioned in the movie but that would cause more chaos. Angels and Demons together to destroy mankind, wow, that would be destructive and I don't know if Humans will have a chance to win. I doubt that. And I think Charlie's baby is a symbolism of 'reincarnation' or something new, a reborn. 

Don't forget to watch Legion. ^_^

Film Review:

"Some kids may be born evil, and none were born more evil than Damien, the creepy son of a diplomat in The Omen Franchise. It’s a series best known for its primary entry, but the follow ups all have interesting things about them. At least the sequels do."-Andre Dellamorte

The Omen is not just about evilness and demons lurking around, it also has the touch of politics and temptation. The movie had many versions starting year 1976 and 2006, the one I watched is the 2006 version. I already heard of this movie before and I am quite intrigued of what is all about so I was glad that I already had a chance to watch it.

So, the movie is all about a prophecy about the coming of the 'Anti-Christ'. The Vatican people received many signs that the coming of this enemy is inevitable. But, they don't have an idea if what that 'Anti-Christ' would look like. A passage from Revelation in the Bible said that a shooting star will fall down and it  holds the key to the abyss where the destroyer will rise. That's not really the correct terms but as far as I can remember, the one who will bring destruction in the world is locked beneath the Earth and his name was Abaddon.

In the movie, 'Abaddon' was in the form of this innocent looking child named Damien who 

became the son of Robert and Katherine Thorn after their supposedly child died in the hospital.

The death of their biological child is inevitable and this is the way for Damien to be put in. Wow, talk about destiny and fate.

The Character of Damien Thorn:

For me, the boy who played the role of Damien Thorn got the character well though there are still some flaws but that's just normal I guess.

Damien Thorn is the chosen one to destroy or bring 'darkness' in the Human World, it's not pretty obvious because he was just a little boy and no one would really suspect him. I mean if ever he's real I will not suspect him for someone who will create huge destruction and will do something evil. But looks can be really deceiving, satan did a great job molding his ultimate key to destroy mankind; the people are oblivious of the evil aura surrounding Damien. 

He really looked like the evil pyschopath child and damn, I hate him because of his evilness. Though I think the director made the character of Damien more unsuspicious since when the film began, I already saw the hint that he's not normal. He's too quiet and less hyper compare to normal kids.

Usage of Politics in destroying mankind:

Oh yeah, this is really nice. I could say that the easiest way to make people suffer is through government or the people ruling over the countries. Government has power and control, they can do anything they want, almost every thing is on the palm of their hands. Ordinary people believe whatever the media will feed them(unless they are open minded or has another thought about it, but most people just believe whatever they'll see.) so the plan to destroy the humans will be easier. I wonder if  the Vatican people has a thought of the anti-christ being in the world of politics. 

Subjective Review:

I personally liked The Omen, I give this movie 8 stars despite of the fact that I hate Damien and I wanted to kill him if ever he's real. The movie was great, nice plot and everything, I learned something from it actually...that the one written on the Bible, they're symbolisms. They can happen but of course we are not aware of it since it will take different forms. I learned that we should not interpret things 'literally', the other beings more likely prefer us humans to be ignorant about their existence and whatever they're planning for our world. It's better that we keep an open mind on everything.

THE ISLAND is everywhere

"Humans would do anything to survive"

 - Macoy and Lincoln 6 Echo

The Beginning

The Island(2005) was directed Michael Bay by stars Lincoln 6 Echo (Ewan McGregor) and Jordan 2 Delta (Scarlett Johansson), it is a very good movie that is about clones made to think the world had ended but are actually Insurance Policies for a longer life, and one day someone had questioned why they were so 'special'.

The film begins with Lincoln 6 Echo having a nightmare about a boat named Renovatio and being drowned and the words 'You are Special' and 'You want to go to the Island' repeating in his mind. We then follow his day through the Institution, a place where the survivors from a word wide contamination go to, Lincoln 6 Echo and his friend, Jordan 2 Delta are part of these people. In the Institution, there is a system they call 'The Lottery' that randomly selects people to go to the Island - the last livable sanctuary left on Earth after the contamination - but Lincoln 6 Echo is the only one who is not interested in going to the Island instead he questions and he is curious on the ways of the Institution, a fact which leads him and his friend to the outside world to discover the reality of what the Institution really is, a breeding place for clones with Merrick as God.

The Middle

The plot of The Island was very good, I loved the set design, the music, and the entire concept of it.

The acting was well played, I found Jordan 2 Delta's constant need to scream a bit childish though not misplaced, Merrick's (Sean Bean) I-am-God act was exceptional though he wasn't showed much in the movie, Macoy's (Steve Buscemi) silliness - just before he died - gave a light feeling before the heavy action scenes occured and overall, everyone did a fantastic job in the film. I would have liked to know more of Albert (Djimon Hounsou) though.

The set design was superb, the Institution wasn't shown much but I liked the way it was build and made with the towering towers and overly white facilities as compared with it's black exterior; the city of Los Angeles was also nicely made mixing futuristic with modern styles made it look like a place that was advancing but not completely there yet, a good way to potray 2019; the dessert settings were also good, like a place that was forgotten to be advanced like in LA but makes the perfect spot to build a place like the Institution, inconspicuous. I would have liked to see more of the Institution but it's also fine just the way it already is; though I do have a problem with how the Institution is directly under it's real office yet can be underneath a dessert at the same time.

The action scenes were good, okay on the effects yet not too overlay confusing and flashy when it comes to camera movement and shot angles so it wasn't hard too hard on the eyes. The romantic scenes between Lincoln 6 Echo and Jordan 2 Delta were also very endearing  yet not too explicit, I also liked the fact that they found the Island in each other. The rising action was alright, not too rushed and not too slow either, it was nicely controlled and crafted up to the end.

The End

There were many symbolisms and metaphors in the Island, even the title itself is a metaphor and the film showed a few symbolisms of religion like with Merrick the God and Lincoln 6 Echo the Saviour. An example of a symbolism within the film was the bug that Lincoln 6 Echo found in Sector 6 which represented him who was trapped in the Institution, the bug's fluttering wings being Lincoln 6 Echo's unfailing curiousity, and like the bug, he will escape as well. Next is the glass pyramid on Merrick's desk which represented the all seeing eye and Merrick's God Complex as well as his power. There is also the name of the boat in Lincoln 6 Echo's dream, the same boat that his original owns in the outside world, Renovatio, latin for Rebirth which foreshadowed Lincoln 6 Echo's rebirth as Tom Lincoln; added to that was the fact that the dream that Lincoln 6 Echo was having was about him becoming Tom Lincoln but the Institution was dragging him down to the waters separating him and Jordan 2 Delta from each other. Another metaphor is Lincoln 6 Echo's desire to save the others in the Institution like a Saviour trying to rescue his people from oppression of the evil Lord whose power he had so overly abused. Finally, the Island - the place the clones sought after so much - was most probably representating the hapiness and freedom out of the Institution but this was also something that Lincoln 6 Echo and Jordan 2 Delta countered since the Island could not only be a place but it can also be a person or an event, or anything at all. Something that makes you feel alive.

Alvin and The Chipmunks: Good Movie

Alvin and Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel(2009), directed by Betty Thomas, like the film before it is about 3 singing and dancing chipmunks Alvin (voiced by Justin Long), Theodore (voiced by Jesse McCartney), and Simon (voiced by Matthew Gubler) but unlike in the first movie where we see the three becoming rock stars, this time they already are and will face where most teenagers their age (whatever their ages are) go to, school. And this time, they will be once again harrassed by Ian who now have new acts, Brittany (voiced by Christina Applegate), Eleanor (voiced by Amy Poehler) and Jeanette (voiced by Anna Faris), the Chipettes.

Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 was an interesting movie, combining silly CGI characters with real world people and places, it was truly an entertaining movie full of singing and dancing while learning the importance of family and team work.

The plot semeed a bit repetitive to me, since it mostly mirrored the 1st movie where the antagonist hires a set of chipmunks, act nice and dazzle them, before he shows his true colors, cage them, then the chipmunks escape. The 1st movie it was the Chipmunks, by the 2nd it was the Chipettes. Though aside from that, I liked it since it was arranged well and had a nice build up of events.

The acting was good, although not much of Dave (Jason Lee) was shown on this film as he was replaced by Tobi (Zachary Levi) as the Chipmunks guardian after Dave got into an accident during a charity concert, actually it was suppose to be their Aunt Jackie (Kathryn Joosten) to take care of them but she got into an accident as well. Tobi was alright and he seemed very subdued, even when yelling or angry; he didn't make moves that were flashy as compared with the antics of the chipmunks, and he played the role of 'socially awkward and shy' very well. Ian (David Cross) on the other hand was pretty good with his villain role, the way he held himself was already a clear indicator he was the bad guy even from the beginning of the film. As for the other actors and actresses, they all did well as well including the CGIs of the 6 chipmunks, though there were times when they interacted with real people where they seemed a bit strange but there were few of these time. Character development was good too especially the growth of Alvin, Tobi, Eleanor, Jeanette, and Theodore. I especially like Tobi's growth from shy to 'finally getting the girl' and from indifferent guardian to friend for the Chipmunks. 

The direction was also good, I applaud Betty Thomas for it sicne it must've been quite difficult to direct people to interact with characters that aren't there, especially when objects on set have to be moved like the bed covers and food and such. Also, some shots would've had to be taken with nobody there at all, so I'm very impressed with his performance.

The set design was good though there were many shots that were repentant like with the front of Dave's house and the school front entrance staircase, it seemed like those shots were only to establish setting change and time in the film. Variety would have been good as well, i guess. There weren't much background music either, or none too prominent and I think that was good since it gave the movie more realism, it didn't evoke much emotions from the audience but that's alright.

Overall, a good movie, expected of Hollywood continuity. The build up was good and the set and CGI were good.

Also, Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 shows people that you should not always think only of yourself especially when people are counting on you as with the case of Alvin during there competition with the Chipettes, and that as family, we should work together and not fight. Alvin and The Chipmunks 2 also shows that despite how small you are, you can still fight and outsmart those bigger than you though there will always be room for discrimination on your part for your size as seen when the Chipmunks were at the airport and airport and at the 1st day of school in the hallway.

Film Review: Exorcism of Emily Rose

Title: Exorcism of Emily Rose

Summary:

In an extremely rare decision, the Catholic Church officially recognized the demonic possession of the 19 year-old college freshman. Told in flashbacks, The Exorcism of Emily Rose chronicles the haunting trial of the priest accused of negligence resulting in the death of the young girl who is believed to be possessed and the lawyer who takes on the task of defending him.

Lawyer Erin Bruner (Laura Linney) takes on the church and the state when she fights in defense of a priest, Father Richard Moore (Tom Wilkinson) who performed an exorcism on a young woman, Emily Rose (Jennifer Carpenter). Bruner must battle the state lawyer as well as her own loneliness, as she realizes that her career so far has not fulfilled her. She takes the case, albeit reluctantly, because she believes it will elevate her to senior partner at her law firm. The priest agrees to let her defend him only if he is allowed to tell Emily's story.
The trial begins with the calling of several medical experts by the prosecutor, Ethan Thomas (Campbell Scott). One expert testifies that Emily was suffering from both epilepsy and psychosis. The defense contests that she may have actually been possessed, though Bruner is careful never to say that in so many words intially. Indeed Bruner explains that Emily was suffering from something that neither medicine nor psychology could explain, and that Father Moore as well as her family realized this and tried to help in another way. Several flashbacks show how this began. Alone in her dorm room one night, at 3:00 AM, she smells a strange burning smell from the hallway. When she checks on it, she sees the door open and shut by itself several times. When she goes back to her room, she sees a jar of pencils and pens move by itself. Additionally, her covers roll themselves down, and a great weight seems to press down on her, a force which also proceeds to choke her and seemingly to possess her momentarily. Through these episodes she wonders if they are really happening or if it is just a hallucination she is experiencing. She suffers more "visions", is hospitalized, and diagnosed with epilepsy. She is given anti-seizure medications which she claims do not work. Her visions continue, as do her severe bodily contortions.
She leaves school and returns to live with her parents. She and her parents become convinced she is not epileptic or mentally ill but is possessed by demons. They ask for their local parish priest to be called in to perform an exorcism, and the Church agrees. The prosecution counters that all this could be explained by a combination of epilepsy (the contortions) and psychosis (the visions).
Meanwhile, Bruner begins to experience strange occurrences in her apartment at 3:00 AM, including strange smells and sounds. Father Moore warns her that she may be targeted by demons for possibly exposing them. Later in the film Father Moore explains that 3:00 AM is the "witching hour" which evil spirits use to mock the Holy Trinity. Significantly, it is the opposite of 3:00 PM, traditionally taken to be the hour at which Jesus died.
Seeing that the prosecution is putting up a seemingly solid medical case, Bruner decides to try to show that Emily may have actually been possessed. She calls in an anthropologist, Dr. Sadira Adani, to testify about various cultures' beliefs about spiritual possession.
A medical doctor present during the exorcism comes forward to reveal an audio tape made during the rite. The priest is then called to the stand to testify. The tape is played and the movie then flashes back to the exorcism. It is performed on Halloween night because Father Moore believes it might be easier to draw out the demons on that night. The priest, Emily's boyfriend, and her father are in the room. Emily is tied to the bed. The priest uses holy water and various words from the Rituale Romanum. She speaks in tongues, including Latin, German, Ancient Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic. Several cats run into the room, jumping on the priest and knocking him down. Emily breaks her ties and jumps out the window, running into the barn. They follow her. Inside the barn, they are subjected to more supernatural phenomena such as unnatural gusts of wind and demonic screams and voices. The demon inside Emily refuses to name itself after repeated demands from the presiding Father but finally reveals contemptuously that there are not one but six demons. They go on to identify themselves in dramatic fashion, naming themselves one after another in dual voices from Emily. They identify themselves as the demons that possessed Cain, Nero, and Judas Iscariot and one of the Legion. Beyond that two demons name themselves directly as Belial, and "Lucifer, the devil in the flesh."
The film returns to the court room. The priest says that after this, Emily refused another exorcism but also refused to take her anti-psychotic medication, having accepted her fate. She died a few weeks later. The prosecutor contends that her speaking in tongues can be explained by her having gone through Catholic Catechism, in which she could have learned the ancient languages, and that she had studied German in high school. The priest admits that it might be possible that she could have learned these languages in school.
Bruner then wants to call the doctor as a witness, but he does not show. She walks outside and sees him on the street. He says he can no longer testify, but he does believe in demons. Before he can explain he is hit by a car and killed. Later that night Bruner's boss tells her she has ruined the whole trial and that if she recalls the priest to the stand she will be fired.
Nevertheless, Bruner calls the priest back to the stand the next day. He reads a letter that Emily wrote him before she died. In the letter Emily describes another vision she had, the morning after the exorcism. She walks out of the house and sees the Virgin Mary, who tells her that although the demons will not leave her, she can leave her body and end her suffering. However, the apparition goes on to say, if she returns to her body she will help to prove to the world that God and the Devil are real. She chooses to return. She concludes the letter by saying "People say that God is dead, but how can they think that if I show them the Devil?" She then receives stigmata, which the priest believes is a sign of God's love for her, but the prosecution counters that she could have received the stigmata wounds from a barbed wire fence on her property.
Father Moore is ultimately found guilty; however, on a recommendation from the jury, the judge agrees to a sentence of time served. In modern American legal practice, juries are only allowed to answer questions specifically directed to them, though sometimes they are asked separately to sentence defendants. The jury's recommendation in this fictional case does not follow American practice.
Bruner is offered a partnership at her firm for saving Father Moore from extended jail time, but she refuses and in fact quits. She goes with Father Moore to Emily's grave, where he has put a quote (which she recited to him the day before she died) from the second chapter twelfth verse of Philippians on her grave: "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling".

Film Review

This movie totally grabbed my attention. It has a lot of messages wanted to be deliver in the human race and mostly were about the Spiritual Realm. Emily Rose is a came from a Catholic family and she's obviously a Catholic too; Based on my observation while watching the movie, she's pretty much normal and nice. I mean, there's no reason for her to be possessed. She doesn't have any doubts nor against God. I didn't really see any reason why she will become possessed. It made me think that despite of having faith to God and believing in Him, there's still a possibility for you to be possess by a demon. Like there's no really protection from them, faith won't protect you from the beings of Hell, they'll still find a way to get into you. 

Another interesting stuff about the movie is the part when the lawyer Erin tried to defend her client from the offense side. In this part, they showed the Science versus Religion thingy and it's absolutely cool! Even though I hate Science. I think I learned something while watching that part of the movie, it opened new ideas in my mind and it made me 'Ohhhh...yeah..man..She's damn right'. 

The part where Emily found herself in a misty place and saw the Virgin Mary, well, that's one of the striking part for me. It mentioned there the reason why Emily was being possessed, and the reason is to make the humans aware of the Spiritual Realm or the Existence of Them. I think Mary told Emily this: "Heaven is not blind to your pain....". It just showed that they're aware of Emily's suffering and of the demons inside her body.

All in all, her demonic possession was PLANNED. See? The Heaven was aware about it, they knew! They knew that she needed help, they heard the Priest calling on them but I don't think they answered. I'm not saying that Heaven is evil and they're not really holy or whatsoever but it just mean that probably, they asked the demons to do it. There's a possibility that Heaven and Hell aren't really enemies, they're just two different places with different inhabitants. That's all. No one really knows the truth anyway.

I give the Exorcism of Emily Rose a 10 stars. Its hella worth the shot and I don't mind watching it again, seriously, look past through the horror and weird poses of Emily and you'll see the hidden message in it. Exorcism of Emily Rose is a film which will test the human's belief about the Unseen and how strong their faith is.

Hell Yeah!!
